Meta has launched Meta One in India, bundling paid AI, creative and professional tools for creators and businesses across Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook.

Meta has launched Meta One in India, offering individual subscriptions and bundled plans with expanded access to its AI and professional tools. The paid tiers bring content creation, audience insights and customer-management features into one subscription structure for creators and businesses that already rely on Meta’s apps for publishing, performance tracking and audience communication.

Meta One brings paid AI subscriptions to India

Meta One’s individual subscriptions in India start at ₹79 a month. Instagram Plus costs ₹99 a month, WhatsApp Plus ₹79 and Facebook Plus ₹99. Users looking for broader access to Meta’s AI tools can choose between two bundled plans. Core, priced at ₹549 a month, includes expanded access to Instagram Restyle, effects and Meta AI image and video generation. Premium costs ₹1,950 a month and comes with higher usage limits across Meta AI and its creative tools.

Meta said more than half of users in early testing of the combined plans used AI and expression features, with Instagram Restyle and voice effects among the most-used tools. Users can either subscribe to a single-platform plan or choose a bundle covering a wider set of Meta AI and creative features.

Professional tools target creator and business workflows

The creator and business plans add features aimed at regular professional use. Essential includes upgraded profiles, a follow button for Reels, auto-follows, a verified badge, expanded Meta Business Agent access on WhatsApp and impersonation protection, subject to verification. Advanced adds scheduled Stories up to 30 days ahead, links in organic posts and Reels, analytics exports, deeper audience insights, more linked devices and expanded WhatsApp Business broadcasts. Expert and Max sit above these tiers with higher limits and additional Meta Business Agent capabilities. For creators, the practical value is in whether these tools reduce the need for separate scheduling, analytics or customer-management services.

AI sits at the centre of Meta One

AI is central to Meta One. Higher tiers increase access to image and video generation, while businesses can use Meta Business Agent for customer conversations. Meta also says it plans to add more AI tools for marketing, business operations and content creation, including Edits Plus. The upcoming tier will add cloud storage and an AI assistant that can surface Instagram insights and content suggestions. For creators and businesses, the key question is whether the subscription replaces enough existing tools or manual work to justify another monthly cost. Meta One also shows Meta extending monetisation beyond advertising by charging professional users directly for workflow and AI features.
